Spring/Summer Denim Trends Exposed

The trends for this spring and summer denim plays a game of peek-a-boo. The tendency is toward exposure, which makes sense in warmer weather- so very distressed jeans, ripped jeans and lots of shredded looks will be strolling the boardwalks and venting flames at hot BBQ’s. But the other trend which reflects my youth includes covering those same holes with patches. Honestly, I’m not crazy about them. I surfed the Net and most looked like I sewed the patches on- not a pretty visual! But, one designer who gets almost everything right, made patched jeans hot. Do the chains give it away?
